Well, it took Microsoft almost 5 years before they got it right, but nontheless they did at least with the newest Slim console. This console is definitely quiet, I'd say its on par with the PS3 slim quietness. Its definitely smaller than the previous 360s. The black glossy finish, the chrome like on/off button and chrome trims look very nice. Some will complain that it is a fingerprint magnet, but I actually like the finished look. The controller is the same as the previous controllers, except for some reason I feel the d pad is a bit more accurate. Wi-Fi is included this time around with no attachments. The disc tray is definitely more quiet in operation while playing a game and even opening and closing wont make much of a clank noise. Touch sensitive buttons are nice. Still has a power brick but it is not compatible with the previous models. As a matter of fact, hard drives and memory cards of old will not be compatible with this new slim. If you dont have a 360, or if yours got the dredded RROD then this might be a good time to buy. It is a new fresh look for the 360 which I welcome.Get more detail about Xbox 360 250GB Elite Console.
