I bought an Xbox 360 when it launched back in 05, I loved it, but it broke after a few months, I then bought a Wii, but it just don't think it's up to par with what the Ps3 and Xbox 360 were doing, the Elite launched soon after, I was skeptical, I was thinking of getting a PS3, but after watching some videos I decided to purchase the Elite.
The Elite was great just lacking, no built in wifi, I really didn't like the hard drive, ( I had a hard time taking it off.) and the Red Ring..
It did, however last about two years, last April it started scratching discs when I wasn't touching it.
I had an extended warrenty, but it was over, I didn't know what to do.
Then this got released at E310, I was astonished, I picked one up as soon as possible.
Enough with the blast from the past, time for the review.
Pros:
Much nicer looking.
Touch sensitive buttons are nice.
Interior hard drive 250 GB.
Kinect ready.
Smaller/more fans.
Less likely to get RRoD.
Same price.
5 USB ports. (2 in front 3 in back)
Cons:
Fingerprint magnet.
Doesn't include any games. (Yet)
Touch Sensitive buttons are nice, but they don't give, so it might confuse some people. (Even though there's a beep)
A little late.
Verdict:
Over all, if you're looking for a 360, but have been scared about RRoD, or you didn't think it was worth it, now is a great time to buy a 360.
If you just bought the Spring Bundle Elite, you may not want to buy this just yet. If you're planning on getting Kinect you should probably get this too, you'll be able to use it on the old Xbox Fats, but with a cable, and who knows how well that's going to work..
It's the Best Xbox 360 without-a-doubt.
The glossy finish is awesome, and when I said "Fingerprint magnet," how much do you touch your Xbox anyway?
So buy it, great deal, great console, great bundle.Get more detail about Xbox 360 250GB Elite Console.
