First off it is redesigned and looks awesome. It is so much smaller then my elite. It is also super quiet and I am shocked how true that part turned out to be. You can't beat the 250 gig hard drive. I am definitely really happy with my purchase. I am not sure about Kinect yet but with 2 nephews I am leaning towards picking it up and to know that this system is Kinect ready is a nice little bonus.
