I have always wanted to get an Xbox because of the console-specific games that they offer. I never took the plunge because the idea of paying $75 to $100 for a wireless network adapter was absurd to me. A third of what the system costs? My equipment is setup so that my router is on the other side of my room and I don't want to run a cable around so it will be wired, and I'm not paying a third more to get an adapter. So, I see where there is a new console with a 250 Gb harddrive, quieter, more energy-efficient, better looking and has a built in wireless adapter. What else could I ask for? It doesn't have to have blu-ray because my PS3 does. I could care less about Kinect because I have a Wii. It doesn't have to be bundled with games because I can purchase 2 or 3 with the money I am saving from not having to buy an adapter. I received it today, had it connected to my wireless G router in under 5 minutes and was creating my XBL account. I have not played a game yet but I know I will enjoy it because this system was created to play games and nothing else.
