Yes, it's glossy, quiet, and comes with a 250GB hard drive. The kicker (and really about 80% of why you would buy this) is the built in WiFi which lets you circumvent buying an adapter ($70-100) or bootlegging your connection through a laptop. If you've had a 360 for a few years now and you've got cash to blow, go for it. If you don't have one now because it broke, or if you're considering buying your first 360, I'd still recommend the black Elite bundle that's still available (as of this review). It's $250 versus $300 and comes with 2 stellar games (Halo: ODST and Forza Motorsport 3) - roughly an $80 value, so essentially you're getting the machine, WITH two titles, AND saving $50+$80=$130, which actually covers the cost of that adapter and then some. So just ask yourself: Is the gloss & wifi really worth $130 extra? By the way, there is no difference at all in performance between the two machines. If you already have a 360, you probably ought to wait for this one to get bundled with something and/or your current machine to break.Get more detail about Xbox 360 250GB Elite Console.
